The Jamaica National Building Society

The Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) celebrates its
130th anniversary this year, having started in the vestry of a church
in 1874. Through the confidence of its savers and the hard work
of its staff over the years, JNBS has become the leading building
society in Jamaica and the Caribbean, ranking fourth in terms of
assets and capital and reserves among local banks, building societies
and institutions licensed under the Financial Institutions Act.
The Society's core business activities comprise savings and home
loans, which are complemented by other services such as trading
in local currencies and the facilitation of international money
transfers.
Through its strategic location of 23 branches and six local subsidiaries
in Jamaica, the Society offers to its customers a suite of services
ranging from investment management, insurance premium financing,
general insurance and real estate management and development.

which is evident through its 10 Subsidiaries and Representative
Offices overseas. These offices, located in the United States of
America, the United Kingdom and Canada, offer services which include
facilitating mortgage brokerage and refinancing for properties in
Jamaica; writing mortgage applications and providing general information
on products and services offered by the Society.
